Smoothies and Your Weight

Just like diets and food pyramids, weight, or what is considered ideal or attractive, changes through time.

What is fascinating about this shift in mentality, is that as food became plentiful, thanks to the agricultural and then industrial revolution, instead of everyone embracing fuller figures, less flesh soon became the aspiration.

And where are we now?  With the introduction of Learsocial media, the focus on appearance and body shape has magnified.  But perhaps this has been balanced by the awareness that skinny does not always equal healthy, and large frames are not always unhealthy. We do not have to weigh ourselves constantly and look perfect, whatever that is, to be healthy.  We all have different heights, bone density, muscle mass, and a different capacity to achieve certain levels of fitness. Most people do know what it feels like to be comfortable in their skin, and perhaps that should be the real measure of the ideal weight.

Maintaining a healthy weight for your particular frame is a going to make you feel better and look better.  The goal of Yeppoonie Smoothie is ultimately to help people lower their weight, but for no other reason than to allow us all to feel good from the inside out.
