We have been slowly preparing our new smoothie and food bar in the centre of Yeppoon.
Located at the site of an old nursery/garden centre, we took over an empty shed, surrounded by a fully paved and bluestoned gravel yard. Returning a garden to the site has been a labour of love, with staff including locals and travellers, contributing to the effort. The dream is to create a tranquil haven to relax, whether to gather with friends, to work (wifi provided), or sit alone on the hammock and read from our small yet lovingly-curated bookshelf.
Spaces for adults and children to explore abound. Herb, vegetable and flower beds, habitats for bees and butterflies, a tropical plant stall, pockets of art, a worm farm and compost to absorb for our kitchen waste, and a children's mud kitchen and art zone for outdoor sensory play, now fill the site.
Displaying our enthusiasm for all things natural, as well as smoothies featuring Yeppoonie Smoothie blends, the menu is a healthy array of 100% plant-based food with fresh ingredients. Our spreads and pantry items are made in-house, displaying our commitment to clean eating, by ensuring no refined sugar, unnatural ingredients, or nasty additives, are hidden in our menu items.
Transferring operations of the powder manufacturing across to the new site, installing a manufacturing area, as well as fitting out a commercial kitchen, whilst still producing and selling to our local and overseas customers, has been quite a task. We look forward to opening soon and being able to welcome you, and share the next stage of Yeppoonie Smoothie.
